Attorneys
We have built a reputation for litigation excellence, often involving high-profile, challenging cases. Associates at Todd & Weld get hands-on experience working on a wide variety of matters, including case strategy, courtroom advocacy, and client contact. Our unique staffing model gives our associates ample opportunities to work directly with numerous partners providing multiple perspectives and styles.
We proudly foster a cooperative, supportive spirit among our attorneys, and we also provide internal and external training to enhance professional development. Our associates are actively engaged in firm committees, allowing them to shape firm policies and culture.
An equal opportunity employer, we are committed to diversity and inclusion through hiring diverse talent and fostering a greater understanding of varying perspectives, including regular training and educational programs. Our active pro bono practice allows attorneys to work on matters of significant public importance. Internships at the firm are focused on our participation in the 1L Diversity Clerkship program of the Boston Lawyers Group.
Summer Associates
Our Summer Associate Program offers law students a rigorous and rewarding introduction to litigation practice. Summer associates work closely with attorneys on meaningful assignments—ranging from legal research and drafting to court observations and strategy discussions. Participants gain insight into our practice areas, firm culture, and commitment to professional excellence. We look for intellectually curious students who demonstrate a strong academic record, initiative, and interest in trial work.
Judicial Clerks
Todd & Weld highly values the experience and perspective that judicial clerks bring to our litigation-focused practice. Many of our attorneys have clerked for state and federal judges, and we actively seek candidates completing clerkships who are ready to build their careers in a collaborative and client-centered environment. We welcome applications from current or former clerks who are seeking to join a firm with a reputation for trial excellence and mentorship.
Legal Interns
We occasionally host law student interns during the academic year to support our practice groups and provide exposure to real-world litigation work. Interns may assist with legal research, case preparation, or writing projects under attorney supervision. These opportunities are designed for students looking to deepen their understanding of litigation strategy and gain practical skills in a fast-paced setting.

Our focus is squarely on getting the job done while treating everyone with respect. Todd & Weld staff employees are key contributors in supporting our attorneys and are integral to the firm’s client service.
