Gary Todd Serves as Faculty for Direct and Cross-Examination Skills MCLE Workshop
Gary Todd recently served as faculty for an intensive two-day workshop focused on developing and refining direct and cross-examination skills for trial attorneys.
The program brought together experienced litigators from a range of practice areas, along with judges from state courts, to provide practical instruction on one of the most critical components of trial advocacy: the effective examination of witnesses. Emphasizing that witness testimony often determines the outcome of a case, the workshop highlighted the importance of careful planning, thorough preparation, and precise execution in presenting evidence at trial.
Each day began with faculty lectures and live demonstrations, offering participants insight into proven strategies for conducting both direct and cross-examinations. Attendees then applied those lessons in a mock courtroom setting, where they practiced their skills and received immediate, individualized feedback from faculty members, including Attorney Todd.
Attorney Todd’s participation reflects Todd & Weld’s continued commitment to excellence in trial advocacy and to mentoring the next generation of litigators through hands-on training and education.
