Overview

Lucia A. Passanisi concentrates her practice on employment litigation and counseling.  Ms. Passanisi represents employers and individuals in disputes involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, non-competition, non-solicitation, misappropriation of trade secrets, and wrongful termination issues.  

Ms. Passanisi is committed to client advocacy and regularly appears in state and federal courts as well as before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.  She represents clients at all stages of the litigation process.  In addition to employment matters, she handles business disputes and qui tam lawsuits.

Notable case results for Ms. Passanisi including obtaining a $2 million gender discrimination verdict for Boston police officer Donna Gavin, and securing a $2.4 million settlement on behalf of Beth Donovan, a former Deputy Superintendent in the Boston Police Department, in connection with gender discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation claims against the City of Boston.
