Veteran trial lawyer Josh Launer joins Todd & Weld
Veteran trial lawyer Josh L. Launer has joined Todd & Weld LLP as Of Counsel.
Mr. Launer over his career has successfully tried several jury and bench trials in federal and state courts. He regularly advises clients on numerous litigation matters, including business disputes, health law, and appellate litigation.
“Josh brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm. His outstanding skills as a trial attorney enhances the firm’s capabilities in effectively guiding clients through an array of litigation matters,” said Founding Partner Howard M. Cooper.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Mr. Launer was general counsel for a hospice and home health company and assistant general counsel overseeing litigation for a multi-state hospital health system. He guided his corporate clients through, among several matters, litigation, internal investigations, audits, regulatory compliance, false claim matters, contract disputes, and employment law.
He also represented business litigation clients in private practice at a large international law firm and served as a special assistant district attorney in Massachusetts where he prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases.
Mr. Launer obtained his law degree magna cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
