Nicholas Carter Serves as Chair for MCLE Negligence Panel

Todd & Weld attorney Nicholas Carter served as faculty for a Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program titled Bringing & Defending Negligence Cases. The program provided continuing legal education on core elements of negligence litigation in civil practice.

The panel walked attendees through practical considerations in presenting or defending such claims. Topics covered included preliminary case evaluation, pre-trial discovery and calculus of summary judgment motions, identifying effective expert witnesses, mediation, jury consultants, and effective jury trial techniques and strategy.

Nick chaired the session and shared insights alongside experienced practitioners from other leading area firms, including Jeff Catalano of Keches Law Group, Mark Shaughnessy of Boyle Shaughnessy, and Mary Azzarito of Adler Cohen.

This MCLE program reflects Todd & Weld’s continued commitment to legal education and to contributing to the professional development of the Massachusetts bar.
