Shayla Mombeleur selected to Massachusetts Bar Association officer position
Following a competitive nomination process, Shayla Mombeleur was recently selected as the organization’s Secretary as part of 2023-2024 slate of officers.
Current MBA President Grace V.B. Garcia lauded Ms. Mombeleur, saying, "Since she received the 2017 Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. Scholarship and participated in the MBA Leadership Academy, Shayla has made a truly positive impact to our organization. Her well-deserved selection for next year's officer team signals a bright future for the MBA."
Ms. Mombeleur currently serves as chair of the MBA’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and is a member of the association’s Executive Management Board.
An associate at the firm, she concentrates her practice on government investigations and criminal defense. Ms. Mombeleur defends clients during every stage of the criminal justice process, including trials, pre-trial motions, and plea bargaining.
