Saraa Basaria joins Todd & Weld as an associate
Saraa Basaria has joined Todd & Weld LLP as a litigation associate and will concentrate her practice on commercial litigation, employment law, and personal injury matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Basaria practiced at a national law firm representing clients in a variety of matters, including commercial litigation, construction litigation, professional liability, land use/zoning litigation, and employment disputes. Ms. Basaria is a former public defender, having tried jury and bench trials, and argued substantive motions in court.
Ms. Basaria is president of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the South Asian Bar Association of North America. She is a 2017 graduate of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Leadership Academy.
Ms. Basaria obtained her law degree in 2012 from Northeastern University School of Law, and her undergraduate degree cum laude in 2008 from the University of Florida.
