Saraa Basaria featured alum in Northeastern Law magazine
Saraa Basaria was featured in the alumni section of the Winter 2018 issue of Northeastern Law magazine.
Coming off a two-year tenure as president of the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, Ms. Basaria told the publication that "[d]iverse lawyers need a network they can rely on so they can succeed in the profession, be promoted and, in turn, become a resource for tomorrow's diverse law students."
Under her leadership, SABA GB expanded its popular "Know Your Rights" program to reach more individuals in the South Asian community. SABA GB also increased its networking activities with other bar associations during her tenure.
Ms. Basaria, an associate at Todd & Weld, was among the inaugural class of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Leadership Academy in 2017, which offers emerging leaders in the legal profession training and resources to help broaden their leadership skills.
Ms. Basaria concentrates her civil litigation practice on commercial disputes, employment law, and personal injury matters.
