Nick Pisegna joins Todd & Weld's government investigations and criminal defense practice group

Nick Pisegna focuses his practice on government investigations and criminal defense, including defending clients in pre-indictment government investigations and at trial.  With his extensive courtroom experience and understanding of the criminal justice system, Nick delivers strategic and effective counsel tailored to each client’s needs.

Before joining Todd & Weld, Nick served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, where he spent years as a trial prosecutor in Middlesex Superior Court.  Nick was responsible for all aspects of prosecution, including grand jury investigations, plea bargaining, pre-trial motion practice, and conducting jury trials.  He handled and tried cases that involved violent crime, sexual assault, domestic violence, shootings, narcotics trafficking, and motor vehicle homicide.  During his time at the District Attorney’s Office, Nick also served as the supervising Assistant District Attorney in multiple District Courts in Middlesex County.

Prior to moving to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Nick practiced at a leading Boston law firm.  There, his practice concentrated on white-collar criminal defense and government enforcement.  His defense work at the firm included representing individual and corporate clients facing pre-indictment government investigations, as well as indictments, in state and federal court.

Nick is a 2016 graduate of Boston College Law School, and graduated from Bowdoin College in 2011.
