Michael DiStefano to Present BBA Panel on Preparing Clients for Government Interviews
Todd & Weld partner Michael DiStefano will serve as a panelist for an upcoming webinar program, “Nuts & Bolts of Government Interviews,” scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom.
This program will provide an overview of how defense counsel can best prepare clients for government interviews, including early case assessment, strategic considerations, client preparation, counsel’s role during the interview itself, and post-interview follow-up.
Topics will include identifying potential criminal and civil exposure, managing client expectations, communicating with prosecutors and investigators before, during, and after the interview, preserving objections and protections during questioning, and evaluating next steps after the interview concludes.
Mr. DiStefano concentrates his practice on white-collar investigations and criminal defense and regularly represents clients in high stakes matters.
