Jeff Catalano quoted in Boston Herald on MBA report on criminal justice reforms

Jeffrey N. Catalano was quoted in the Boston Herald about the Massachusetts Bar Association's report calling for major criminal justice reforms in Massachusetts.

Mr. Catalano, president of the MBA, told the publication that the report wil support lobbying efforts for reforming the criminal justice system: "The next step for this is to pursue and support legislation that will make effective changes. These resolutions are responsive to many concerns that we have with criminal justice generally and with law enforcement."

The MBA among other things is seeking reforms to how court costs, fines and bail are handled, as well as enhanced data collection to prevent discrimination in traffic stops and stop-and-frisk encounters, according to the article.

Mr. Catalano is a partner at the firm, concentrating his practice on representing victims of catastrophic injuries in medical negligence and other personal injury matters.
