Hannah Black is a co-author of the latest edition of the Massachusetts Criminal Law Practice Guide recently released by LexisNexis.
The publication examines the entire process of a criminal trial in Massachusetts – from the initial representation of a client through sentencing and post-sentencing procedures. The Practice Guide includes numerous forms, practice tips and checklists, and authoritative analysis in each chapter with cross-references to relevant legal authorities.
Ms. Black concentrates her practice on government investigations and criminal defense, including defending clients at trial and in pre-indictment government investigations. She also represents medical professionals and institutions in various health law matters.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Ms. Black was an Assistant District Attorney where she supervised staff attorneys and managed hundreds of criminal cases.
