Todd & Weld Client, The Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribe, Finalize Compact with Commonwealth of Massachusetts

On Friday, November 15, 2013, Todd & Weld LLP's client, The Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribe, finalized its Compact with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts which will govern the relationship between the Tribe and the Commonwealth in connection with the Tribe's proposed destination resort casino.

Todd & Weld partner, Howard M. Cooper, led the negotiations for the Tribe, and has represented the Tribe since 2009. The photo above shows some of those present at the signing.
