The Massachusetts Women's Bar Association has selected Suzanne Elovecky for its 2015-16 Women's Leadership Initiative.
First established in 2009, the Women's Leadership Initiative recognizes and develops rising stars in the legal profession. Ms. Elovecky is among 15 women attorneys chosen for this year's class.
The year-long program will provide mentoring in group and one-on-one settings, conduct programs focused on business and professional development, and introduce class members to government, business, and legal leaders.
"I am honored to be part of the leadership program, and am looking forward to what promises to be a fulfilling and educational professional experience," Ms. Elovecky said.
Ms. Elovecky's diverse complex commercial litigation practice includes representing individuals and corporations in employment disputes, trademark and copyright matters, automobile dealership matters, and shareholder disputes.
"The WBA is proud that Ms. Elovecky is a member of this new class of the Women's Leadership Initiative," said WBA President Kimberly Dougherty. "The program is directly aligned with the organization's goal of advancing women in the profession."
