Todd & Weld’s Matt Furman to Lead REBA Litigation Section Webinar
Matt Furman will moderate an upcoming webinar hosted by the Litigation Section of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts (REBA) on June 23, 2026.
The program, Common Evidentiary Issues in Real Estate Disputes, will be led by Furman and feature panelists Gwen Nolan King of Nolan & King LLC and Michael J. McDermott of Dain, Torpy, Le Ray, Wiest & Garner, PC. They will discuss recurring evidentiary challenges that arise at trial in real estate and land use disputes and provide practical guidance for navigating them effectively.
Topics will include the admission of satellite imagery under recent Land Court case law, pitfalls involving local bylaws and ordinances, and strategies for admitting historic documents and statements of deceased persons under G.L. c. 233, § 65.
Furman is Co-Chair of REBA's Litigation Section and represents commercial real estate firms, developers and landowners in complex real estate litigation.
The webinar will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23.
