Matt Furman Appointed Co-Chair of the Litigation Section of the Real Estate Bar Association
Todd & Weld is pleased to announce that Matt Furman has been appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the Litigation Section of the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA).
In this leadership role, Matt will help guide the Section’s programming, educational initiatives, and professional development efforts for attorneys practicing real estate litigation across Massachusetts. The Litigation Section focuses its programming on important legal developments in real estate law and trial skills applicable to the Land Court.
Matt Furman primarily represents commercial real estate firms, developers and landowners in high-stakes disputes concerning land use, permitting, title, boundaries, commercial leases, purchase rights and other real estate related controversies. His practice emphasizes strategic advocacy in the Land Court and other forums where real estate and land use issues are litigated.
The Real Estate Bar Association (REBA) is the largest specialty bar in Massachusetts and has been in existence for over 150 years. REBA is widely recognized for its continuing legal education programs, legislative advocacy, and leadership in shaping real estate law and policy in Massachusetts.
