On April 9, 2015, Julie E. Green, Of Counsel with Todd & Weld LLP, served on a Continuing Legal Education panel sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association Civil Litigation and Complex Commercial Litigation Section Councils entitled "Closely Held Corporation Litigation:  Trends, Traps and Trouble Avoidance."

Julie joined a panel of seasoned business litigators and Hon. Janet Sanders of the Business Litigation Session of the Superior Court to bring fresh perspective on hot-button topics, including the uncertain status of Supreme Judicial Court freeze-out jurisprudence, thorny attorney-client privilege questions, the quiet death of the "futility" exception to the shareholder derivative suit pre-filing demand, and a discussion of how to head off disputes with careful shareholder agreements and ancillary documents.
