Howard Cooper, Elaine Epstein, J. Owen Todd, and Gary Todd Named "2014 New England Best Lawyers"

Howard M. Cooper, Elaine M. Epstein, J. Owen Todd, and Gary Owen Todd, partners with Todd & Weld LLP, have been  named "2014 New England Best Lawyers" as published in The Boston Globe and The Wall Street Journal.  Best Lawyers is the oldest legal peer-review organization in the United States, having been founded in 1983.  Owen Todd received special recognition for having been included as a Best Lawyer consistently for the last 30 years.

Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer-review.  The methodology is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.  Its survey proces is designed to elicit meaningful and substantive evaluations of the quality of legal services.  The areas of law for which the Todd & Weld attorneys were recognized are:

Howard M. Cooper:  Commercial Litigation; First Amendment Law; Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law

Elaine M. Epstein:  Family Law

J. Owen Todd:  Commercial Litigation; Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law; Personal Injury Litigation-Plaintiffs

Gary Owen Todd:  Family Law; Litigation-Trusts and Estates
