Heidi A. Nadel, a partner with Todd & Weld LLP, has been appointed to a three-year term as a member of the Advisory Committee on Rules for the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Members of the Committee have an advisory role concerning the rules of practice and internal operating procedures of the court. The Committee provides a forum for continuous study of the rules, serves as a conduit between the bar and the public and the court regarding procedural matters and suggestions for changes, considers and recommends rules and amendments for adoption, and renders reports from time to time, on its own initiative and on request, to the court.

Ms. Nadel's litigation practice has included extensive litigation and appeals in the Federal courts.
