Hannah Black

Biography

Hannah Black concentrates her practice on government investigations and criminal defense, including defending clients at trial and in pre-indictment government investigations.  She also represents medical professionals and institutions in various health law matters. 

Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Ms. Black was an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney's Office where she supervised staff attorneys and managed hundreds of criminal cases involving a variety of felony and misdemeanor charges, including domestic assault and battery, OUI, unlicensed possession of firearms, and distribution of Class A, B and D drugs, as well as sensitive investigations involving motor vehicle fatalities and sexual assaults.  She helped to advocate for victims of violent and property crimes.

Ms. Black obtained a Master of Social Work has her license in Clinical Social Work.
