After a 10-week trial, a Massachusetts Superior Court jury returned a not guilty verdict in a murder case tried by David Meier, a partner at the firm.
The jury found Mr. Meier's client, Ernest Wallace, not guilty of participating in the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd by former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez.
After hearing from over 100 witnesses and receiving nearly 800 physical exhibits, the jury deliberated for less than eight hours before returning its verdict.
"The jury's verdict on the first-degree murder charge speaks for itself, as does the speed with which the jury returned that verdict," Mr. Meier told The Boston Globe. "In the end, the truth won out. Mr. Wallace looks forward to rejoining his family in Florida as soon as possible and moving on with his life."
Michael DiStefano of the firm assisted Mr. Meier on the trial.
