David Meier has been elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.
The Board of Trustees governs MCLE, a non-profit organization providing premier hands-on educational programs and reference materials for the Massachusetts legal community.
Mr. Meier, a partner at Todd & Weld, specializes in the areas of criminal defense and government investigations. He represents a full range of clients, including executives and companies faced with internal corporate fraud or other white collar investigations; public officials and other professionals under investigation for alleged corruption or ethical violations; private individuals alleged to have committed serious felonies, sexual assaults, or death-related crimes; and students facing disciplinary proceedings at academic institutions.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and has been recognized as among the best in his field by Best Lawyers in America, New England Super Lawyers and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Mr. Meier served 12 years as the Chief of Homicide in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, supervising the investigation, prosecution, and trial of all homicides occurring within the City of Boston.
