Firm hosts WBA event on discussing hatred and discrimination with children

The Women's Bar Association Mothers' Forum held a forum at Todd & Weld LLP concerning how to discuss hatred and discrimination with children.

The program was facilitated by a panel of experts in combating discrimination and in child counseling, and included pointers on how to have difficult and age-appropriate discussions with children.  Participants were given an opportunity to share their concerns and experiences.

The forum panelists were: Lucinda Mills, Pupil Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker in the Behavioral Health Services Department of Boston Public Schools; Jocelyn Stanton, Program Director at Facing History and Ourselves; and Stacy Davison, Director of Training for the Anti-Defamation League.

Christine R. Thompson, an attorney at the firm, is co-chair of the Mothers' Forum and helped organize the event, along with co-chair Eliza Minsch, a partner at Petrucelly, Norris & Minsch PC.
